We’re here to help you build the foundation for a safe and empowered fourth trimester.
Education, community and support created for you by postpartum nurses and moms of littles.
refers to the 12 weeks after birth. The term is believed to have been coined by pediatrician Dr. Harvey Karp, who believed that babies were born three months too early. So what does this mean? This time frame is one of enormous physical, mental and emotional changes for both you and your baby. It takes about 12 weeks for your baby's body to adjust to being in the outside world, meanwhile you're recovering from birth and experiencing all of the blood, sweat and tears (literally - don't worry we'll get into that later) that go along with it.

HOW WE CAN HELP
hi!
we’re carly & meg!
We've been walking alongside families at the start of their postpartum journeys in the hospital for a decade. Many of our patients, especially the first-time mothers, did an amazing job preparing for birth and caring for their newborn, but were seriously lacking in education about how to take care of their own bodies. We decided to join forces and change that narrative.
POSTPARTUM NURSES, MOMS & YOUR SOON-TO-BE MOM FRIENDS
“Megan and Carly are warm, supportive, informative and real. I felt so supported while talking about uncomfortable and new topics that typically are either not talked about or cause fear when I think about postpartum.”
- Jen F.
“I have now taken...a lot...of childbirth-related classes and the tone, positivity and compassion of Meg and Carly has been my favorite. I thought [they] did a wonderful job of getting us prepared for what to expect at the hospital and also in recovery, but while still emphasizing all the beautiful aspects of this process.”
- Erin C.
